Consulted Dr Helena mam for my sisters mental health and after so long she is finally doing great now because of the prescribed medications from the doctor. Completely recommend the mind care centre.
Well response and She doesn't just offer medication but truly connects with patients to bring healing on all levels—emotional, psychological, and social. The staff are equally supportive, always ensuring that the environment is calm and welcoming.
I was referred here during a very low point in my life. I was hesitant at first, but from the first visit, I felt understood. Dr. Helena is gentle, wise, and non-judgmental. Her insight into human behavior and mental illness is profound. She gave me hope when I had none. The therapy sessions are structured well, and progress is carefully monitored. I especially like how they combine professional expertise with a warm and encouraging environment. You are never treated like a number here. This is the kind of mental health care every city needs.
Extremely disappointing experience. We had booked a proper appointment in advance and traveled all the way to the clinic, only to be told *after* reaching that the doctor wouldn't be available. The staff hadn't communicated this beforehand, nor did they check with the doctor until we arrived. Only then did they call the doctor—who casually conveyed she couldn't come. This is not just poor planning, it's deeply inconsiderate—especially when dealing with mental health. My wife, who is already struggling, had gathered the courage to come to the hospital. That step alone takes immense emotional effort. To be turned away like this without warning was not only frustrating but potentially damaging to her recovery. We requested to speak with the doctor directly, but the staff said, “She won’t talk like that.” Only after pushing, they called her, and what followed was even more upsetting. The staff conveyed — in a very rude tone — that the doctor said, “If they want, tell them to come tomorrow.” Whether those were the doctor’s exact words or the staff’s tone, the message was cold and dismissive. There was no apology, no empathy. Time and money were wasted, but more importantly, so was trust. Now I have to convince her all over again to seek help—which won’t be easy after this. Mental health patients deserve empathy and reliability, not last-minute cancellations and careless handling. Please take responsibility and ensure this doesn't happen to other families. Communication is the *least* one can expect from a clinic.
Anandham Mind Care Clinic & Foundation is a great place for help. It is easy to find and visit. The staff is friendly and caring. Prices are good, so many people can afford it. They offer many services for mental health. I felt welcome and safe here. If you need support, this place of education is an excellent choice!
