Daya General Hospital Thrissur

I experienced exemplary support from the team at Daya Hospital over the last few weeks. My mother who suffers from Interstitial Lung Disease is confined to her home and is on oxygen support throughout. We used to regularly meet a Pulmonologist in Thrissur district but, their indifference and apathetic attitude made me reach out to Daya...more as a last resort and out of sheer helplessness. Sethu Raj, Location Head of Daya (Kunnamkulam facility) patiently heard me out and I am guessing he realized, empathy and understanding was the need of the hour. He made all arrangements including an ambulance to move my mother to the hospital...with a doctor on standby to immediately attend. Protocols like appointments were kept on hold and they made sure my mother was at ease in a few hours. A series of relevant tests were carried out, a well charted plan was designed and an appropriate regime was put in place...all in a day's time. I live in Bangalore and cannot do without a support system in Kerala. I found this in Daya. They have been extremely proactive and responsible from the very first interaction. My mother is completely under the home care of Daya Hospital...with regular doctor visits at home, nurses assigned for administering medicines...and some of them who voluntarily drop by just to put my mother at ease. There's something fabulous going on here...empathy is at the centre of everything at this institution. It is astounding how everyone embodies the spirit of true care and service...I am sure this flows from the top..all the way down. From Sethuraj to Dr. Mukesh, Dr. Haripriya, Dr. Reshma and Likhitha (support team member) - all of them refuse to conform to the below-par standards of healthcare. It's been close to 3 odd weeks of proper care by this team and I must confess - this is possibly one of the best experiences that I could have asked or even hoped for. Will be indebted...with gratitude to the whole team at Daya.

The canteen exceeded my expectations with high-quality, delicious food that added a lot of comfort to my visit. Highly recommended for their efficiency and heart.

We been here with my father for consulting doctor iqbal (cardiologist). We were prescribed for angioplasty from another hospital. After preliminary checkup and consultation in daya, dr iqbal said us angioplasty was not needed, medication is enough at this point. Later we also seen pulmonologist. Overall we had good medical consultation here. Thank you
