I was searching for a person who can Understand my past and give tailored remedies and help me overcome my anxiety, my traumatic past and my fears, I had visited 2 different psycatrists, both of them gave me medicines but no one of them gave me the tailored responses and tried to understand my past and where these problems are coming from, I had almost given up on psycatric help, but again while searching for one more time I came across Ms. Asmita chitale ma'am via Mind Matters counciling. For the first session I was afraid that I might get the same responses as the previous 2, but somehow the first session gave me a ray of hope that I could trust Asmita Ma'am, and I did, I completed my 5 sessions with her and have seen alot of improvement in my thoughts, my actions, my perspectives and she also recommended a psycatrist whom I went ahead trusting her, their clinic name is Dr. Niket Kasar, even who understood my situation and first started treating my sleep which has overall helped my mood and my behavior, my thoughts alot, I'm still continuing the treatment at both the clinics simultaneously. And this time I am not just having hope but am convinced for good that I'll heal from my wounds and be back on track and see growth in my life, my carrer. I highy recommended "Mind Matters" clinic for mental health, anxiety, past trauma healing.
My experience at My Mind Matters was wonderful! I got to learn numerous things from this internship programme and gain real-world insights from the experienced team of counselors. I especially liked the roleplay exercises and discussions conducted. Truly grateful for the guidance! 😄
I am Lakshita Pandit, an SYBA student from Abasaheb Garware College, and this psychology internship was a truly enriching experience. It provided valuable practical exposure and helped me understand the real-life application of psychological concepts while developing essential counseling and professional skills. During the internship, I strengthened my self-resilience, emotional regulation, empathy, and self-awareness. I gained hands-on experience in case documentation, ethics, confidentiality, counseling settings, and case discussions, which helped bridge the gap between theory and practice. I also improved my active listening, rapport-building, communication skills, and learned that being present and empathetic is often more therapeutic than offering solutions. Workshops and guest lectures, including Art Therapy and sessions by Tamuli Ma’am, further enhanced my learning. The faculty guidance was exceptional. Asmita Ma’am provided timely corrections and encouragement that boosted confidence. Aruna Ma’am was deeply inspiring and motivated ethical and professional growth. Shreya Ma’am’s real-life examples enriched practical understanding. Tamuli Ma’am’s guest sessions offered valuable insights into counselling psychology and career paths. Overall, this internship greatly enhanced my academic clarity, professionalism, and career orientation in psychology. Highly recommended for students seeking meaningful practical exposure.
Meeting shreya ma'am and trying to figure out everything once again with the help of her was the best decision of my life, she did it, she helped me, in just a few sessions I was all set to go. She made me clear out all the mess which was haunting me and disturbing my personality for years. She made me capable of facing everything which life serves gracefully. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone who wants to get back on track.
