Jagruti Rehabilitation Centre in Navi Mumbai

We admitted my sister to this rehabilitation center on a doctor’s suggestion after our father passed away. She was in deep depression, not coming out of her room, and unable to walk or function independently. My sister is also unable to hear or speak, so she needed extra care and sensitivity. For the first three months, the center seemed okay. However, later during video calls, my sister looked very scared and uncomfortable. The caretaker was always holding the phone in a way that we could not properly see her face or understand what she was trying to communicate. Even after repeatedly requesting proper communication and informing the counsellor, we did not receive a proper response. When we visited in person, we noticed poor hygiene and care. Her hair was not washed, and she was not dressed properly. Despite paying ₹35,000 per month, she was not treated with the dignity and care a patient deserves. After bringing her back home, she told us that three people had physically hit her. This has worsened her mental condition and made her more aggressive and fearful. This experience has been extremely painful for our family. Proper care, safety, hygiene, and compassionate treatment are the minimum expectations from any rehabilitation center, especially for vulnerable patients. I hope strict attention is given so that no other patient or family has to face such a situation.

My father has been admitted to your hospital for the last 4–5 months due to dementia. During the initial months, the level of care was not very satisfactory. However, over the past one month, we have seen a significant and positive change after Mr. Ravindra Mhatre took over as the caretaker. His dedication, patience, and compassionate approach have made a big difference in my father’s condition. My father is now much better, more stable, and noticeably more active than before. I admitted my father to Jagruti Rehabilitation Centre, Taloja, Navi Mumbai in July 2025 for the treatment of dementia and bipolar disorder. He had become unmanageable at home, and despite several hospital admissions earlier, his condition remained difficult to control. He struggled with his daily routine, had difficulty walking, showed aggression, and suffered from memory loss. The team at Jagruti has been extremely caring and cooperative throughout. I had a very good experience with Dr. Aayushi, Dr. Yatika, and the entire staff. A special mention to our assigned counsellor, Ms. Rekha, who keeps us regularly updated on my father’s progress and oversees his overall wellness. She also guides us on his nutrition and recovery plan, which has been very helpful. I’m truly happy to see the improvement in my father’s health — he has started recognizing people again and responding calmly and appropriately. I am deeply grateful to the entire team at Jagruti for their care, patience, and dedication.

Jagruti Rehabilitation Centre, Navi Mumbai is very good rehabilitation center, which takes proper care of it's patients by giving proper medicine, counseling, giving proper guidance to patients and their families. Center has very good doctors, counselors, and caretakers. It is also clean, has very good and cooperative staff and provides very good meals to its patients. Dr Bharat Mali, Dr Asra Khan, counselor Pratibha Pawar are very good and are dedicated doctors and counselor.
