As an international student, im surprised to see how much Indians concern about their mental health and understand it's importance regardless of age, family members are supportive and understandable. Got to know that how mental health hospital works systematic, grateful to got opportunity to get first ever experience. I wish I could bring my close people here for counseling.
The clinical internship was a valuable learning experience that helped me understand the practical application of psychology. It improved my clinical knowledge, communication skills, and exposure to real-life cases, making it a meaningful and beneficial experience.
I had the opportunity to complete my internship at MIMH Hospital and it was a truly valuable learning experience. I got good clinical exposure to different cases, which really helped improve my practical skills and confidence. Dr. Rajgopal sir’s teaching was excellent — he explains cases clearly and focuses on real understanding, which made a big difference in my training. The staff and team were also very supportive and approachable. Overall, I’m grateful for the knowledge and hands-on experience I gained here. A very good place for psychology students to learn and grow professionally highly recomended for psychology students and trainees looking for quality clinical training and mentorship.
As a Msc Counselling Student, My experience in Mysore Institute of Mental Health was very enriching. I really appreciate Dr Rajagopal for his Vision, enthusiasm and dedication. I could learn many things from his Wisdom and experience. Mr. Ajay, the Counsellor also deserves my heartfelt appreciation for his dedication and service. My time at MIMH Hospital, Mysore was really very very enriching. I was fortunate to have interactions with Dr. Rajgopal.
