I am Akash Anand. In October 2023, my mother started facing kidney problems, but no one in the family knew about it. She was constantly taking tablets for thyroid, headaches, stomach issues, etc. After a few days, my mother started experiencing many problems, like dry skin, fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, difficulty breathing, high blood pressure, skin irritation, and patchy spots all over her body. Then, my father consulted a local doctor, and it was discovered that both of her kidneys had failed. This news created a huge tension in the family. It felt like there was nothing left to hope for in this world. My father had no idea what to do or what not to do. Even when we asked others, no one could give us any good suggestions. At this point, my brother-in-law took the situation very seriously. His involvement was like that of Raja Dashrath Manjhi – he helped in every possible way. He sacrificed his car, money, time, everything – and he is a government teacher. Even then, he gave his time and effort to think about what was best for my mother. My brother-in-law then said that we need to take my mother to Chandigarh, no matter the cost, and he was ready to bear the expenses. So, my father gathered courage, and a few days later, my mother, father, my brother Avinah Anand, and some other women traveled to Chandigarh. Upon reaching there, they were confused about what to do next. The first day was spent at a Gurudwara in Chandigarh. The next day, they started treatment at PGI Chandigarh. Many tests were conducted, and for almost 6 months, the focus was solely on my mother and father's check-ups, under the guidance of Dr. Ashish, the nephrologist. After a few days, my mother's kidney transplant was done, and it was successful. The process was full of struggles – financial issues, emotional turmoil, and many other difficulties – but finally, the transplant was successful. Since then, my mother is as healthy as she was five years ago. All the credit for this miracle goes to Dr. Ashish. If he hadn’t provided such excellent treatment, who knows what could have happened. Words fall short when I try to express my gratitude. Thank you, sir, for giving my mother a second life. They say that only a doctor, after God, can give someone a second life. Dr. Ashish is one of the best doctors. He treated my cousin and he is doing great. He was able to find the root cause of the problem, diagnosed it correctly and then gave the treatment. We were able to talk freely with him on the problem. Thanks once again.

Dr Ashish Sharma is a great psychiatric and counselor, he spent a lot of time with patients to listen them in a non-judgmental way, he thoroughly understand patient lives, feelings and emotions before prescribing any medicines, also i found him good human being and people friendly.
