ABSOLUTELY APPALLING NEGLIGENCE. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR WITH YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. This is beyond unprofessional—it is dangerous. This doctor is completely inaccessible. He refuses to answer phone calls and forces you to beg for appointments via WhatsApp. I waited 7 days just to get a reply for a slot at the GIPS center. I drove an hour to get there after a hectic workday, only to find he had already left. No call. No apology. Nothing. I had to chase him for another 10 days on WhatsApp just to get a second appointment at the Lilavati center. I called before leaving to confirm. No answer. I drove another hour. HE WAS NOT THERE. Again. He couldn't even be bothered to send a text canceling. I am not changing doctors by choice; I am effectively held hostage because I am dependent on the medication he prescribed. Because of his complete lack of care and his ghosting of patients, my treatment was interrupted, and my severe panic attacks have returned. To make a psychiatric patient wait 20 days while suffering withdrawal and panic attacks because you can’t manage a calendar is not just bad service—it is malpractice. Despite being a big name psychiatrist, he is not even willing to patiently listen and understand the issues at all. Just prescribes anti-depressants and anti-anxiety pills to any and everyone, maybe to force patients to come and see him multiple times. Most doctors associated with GIPS are like this. They lack morals and in-depth knowledge, expert in prescribing the same useless pills.

I contacted Dr Kalrav Mistry on mobile phone for a patient's treatment. After hearing the problem, he prescribed some medicines on mobile communication with necessary advice and the patient got well within a short time. He prescribes specifically beneficial medicines only. I visited Dr Kalrav. He is very kind and supportive. His approach towards patient is cooperative. We heartily appreciate his support and grateful to him.

Visited this clinic with genuine expectations of professional psychiatric care and left feeling more confused and dismissed. The consultation felt rushed, impersonal, and lacking basic empathy—something you would expect as a minimum from a mental health professional. There was little effort to understand my concerns, and most of the session felt like a formality rather than treatment. For a psychiatrist, the lack of listening and clarity was disappointing. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking thoughtful or patient-centric mental health care.
